April 2010

-"Linearity EP" was released today (15 April 2010) on ElpaMusic. This is a release made up of four brand new tracks representing an experiment in minimal dub. See www.elpamusic.lv for info and to download.

-New compilation 'Straume' by Latvian label Elpa Music is now available. The new Rekalix track 'Dusky Bay' is the opening track. See www.elpamusic.lv.

March 2010

-Following a brief hiatus there is much news to be shared in the world of Rekalix. Firstly, a new track 'Dusky Bay' will be appearing on a forthcoming compilation by Latvian label Elpa Music (www.elpamusic.lv) to be released on 1st April 2010. Following this, April will also see the release of "Linearity EP" also on ElpaMusic. This is a release made up of four brand new tracks representing a new Rekalix sound, perhaps best described as minimal dub. Work on a third full album is still ongoing, but previous album 'Frozen Planet' is still available to download from iTunes. And of course, there will be another Rekalix DJ set on Fluid Radio in March, comprised predominantly of Modern Classical with some electroacoustic works too.

September 2009

-Rekalix to perform live at Atom Om Festival in Tartu, Estonia on Thursday 3rd September 2009, and live in Tallinn, Estonia on Friday 4th September.

-Rekalix to perform live at Atom Om Festival in Tartu, Estonia on Thursday 3rd September 2009.

February 2009

-General Update: Next Rekalix DJ set on Fluid Radio is 20th March. There will be a new experimental e.p. titled 'Purience e.p.' out later this year on Fluid Audio. A 3rd full Rekalix album will be out early 2009/early 2010.

December 2008

-The next Rekalix DJ set on Fluid Radio will be on Sunday 28th December at 7pm (London Time Zone), and will be 90 minutes in length.

November 2008

-Studio Update: A new Rekalix e.p. titled "Purience" is now mixed and ready for mastering and will be out early in 2009. Work has also started on the third full Rekalix album to follow up 2007s "Frozen Planet". It has the working title "Linearity" and will most likely be out in the second half of 2009.

October 2008

-Rekalix is now a Fluid Resident DJ, and will be playing regular DJ sets on Fluid Radio (www.fluid-radio.co.uk) every 6-8 weeks. Sets will encompass Ambient Soundscapes, Ambient Trance, Atmospheric Breakbeat, Beatless Ambient, Dub, Electronica, Ethnic Chill, IDM, Psy Chill and many other spiritual sounds.
The next Rekalix DJ set will Friday 21st November at 7pm (London time zone), and will be 90 minutes in length.

September 2008

-An 80 minute Rekalix DJ set is to be played on www.fluid-radio.co.uk on Saturday 6th September at 7pm (GMT-UK).
